Aug 6, Sept 3 & Oct 1: Enjoy some bluegrass music

Join the crew at Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine Mills for an adventure on the high seas. Follow the pirate activity map through each exhibit, including the ocean tunnel and the Stingray Bay exhibit, to find golden treasures. August 12: Meet an Author

Join Jeff Guinn, a member and author of the Texas Literary Hall of Fame, as he speaks at the Colleyville Public Library about his book, The Last Gunfight: The Real Story of the Shootout at the OK Corral – and How It Changed the American West” speaks. A light lunch will be served and a book signing will follow the presentation. Participants over the age of 18 are welcome. August 13, 20, 27: Adopt a furry friend

PetSmart Southlake will be holding adoptions with Lost Paws Rescue of Texas every Saturday in August. Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a 501(c)(3) voluntary charity that rescues abandoned dogs and cats in hopes of providing them with permanent homes. August 13: Get outside for this open house

Learn about the local wildlife, hear the history of the Jones family, and chat with the staff about the various trails and programs available at the open house at the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve. August 19: Salute to Elvis

August 20: Drink beer and buy art

Join Hop and Sting Brewing Co. for its August Art Market supporting The Usual Artspects, a non-profit organization for sexual assault survivors. August 20: Charity Run
